Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and prepare them for medical appointments.
- Obtain health histories and document patient details accurately.
- Take vital signs and support routine clinical procedures.
- Perform CLIA-waived testing after required training, including pregnancy and STI testing.
- Provide education to clients on pregnancy, reproductive health, and available services.
- Communicate follow-up information and contribute to care coordination efforts.
- Input and maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record system.

- Help with other administrative or clinical projects as assigned.
Without a doubt the role will suit a candidate with:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Technician, or equivalent clinical credential.
- A minimum of one year of hands-on patient care experience within a healthcare environment, including physician practices, outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, hospitals, or women’s health offices.
- Experience taking vital signs and recording patient information.
- A level of comfort working directly with patients in a caring, service-focused environment.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
It would be beneficial (but not essential) if you also have:
- Associate degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Two or more years of clinical experience.
- Prior experience in women’s health or obstetrics and gynecology.
- Working knowledge of electronic medical record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks.
- Experience collecting specimens or performing laboratory testing.
Beyond your clinical qualifications, we're looking for someone who brings compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to patient care.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Empathy and professionalism in every patient interaction, helping women feel welcomed, respected, and supported.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and smooth day-to-day clinic operations.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential patient information.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Initiative and teamwork, with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative clinical environment.
- Reliability and adaptability, along with a genuine dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
